Lewis V. Bogy
Lewis V. Bogy was a Democratic politician and senator.

History
Bogy served in the St. Louis government at multiple levels; as alderman in 1838, as representative to the Missouri House of Representatives for 1840-1841 and 1854-1855, and as president of the city council in 1872.
He was appointed to commissioner of BIA for 1866-1867.
Bogy was elected to the Senate in 1872 and served until his death in 1877.
