American Presidents
A history of American presidents (and vice presidents).
There is a non-neglibile trend for vice presidents to later become presidents, but it is far from common. For portions of history, there was a more significant trend for secretaries of state to later become presidents. Nonetheless, per the 11th amendment, presidents and vice presidents run together on a ticket, and therefore they belong on the same timeline.
