Augustus FitzRoy was a Whig politician and member of the Parliament in Great Britain.


History

Augustus was a grandson of Charles FitzRoy, the duke of Grafton. Following the death of his uncle, George FitzRoy, in 1747, he became his grandfather's heir apparent and began to use the courtesy title of earl of Euston.

He entered the House of Commons in 1756 for a pocket borough. His grandfather died the following year, leaving him to succeed his titles and a seat in the Lords.
