Illyria is a historic kingdom that is now split between Austria and Slovenia.

History

Following a brief Napoleonic conquest, the united Illyrian Provinces were divided again into kingdoms of Illyria and Dalmatia. These were crownlands in the Austrian Empire. The capital of Illyria was Ljubljana.

The revolutions of 1848 led to the kingdom being divided again, into Carniola, Carinthia, and the Austrian Littoral.
