Composition

The CIA reports to the DNI.

These agencies are organized under the DOD and report directly to the undersecretary for Intelligence and Security (USD(I&S)):

The DIA reports to both the DNI and the USD(I&S).

The OIA is a Treasury agency.

Coordination across these agencies comes from the NSC and the national security advisor.
