Robert Gascoyne-Cecil was a Conservative politician, member of the House of Lords, and prime minister of the United Kingdom.


History

Gascoyne-Cecil's father died in 1868, leaving him to inherit the marquessate of Salisbury, a seat in House of Lords, and the tile of Lord Salisbury.
