John Russell
John Russell was a Whig politician and member of the House of Lords in Great Britain.

History
John Russell was a younger son of Wriothesley Russell, duke of Bedford. When his brother Wriothesley Russell (same name as their father) died in 1732, he inherited the titles and seat in the House of Lords.
Russell was associated with the Patriot Whig. His own followers are sometimes referred to as Bedfordites.
