History

The United Thai Nation Party was founded by Seksakon Atthawong in March 2021.

Ahead of the 2023 general election, the Palang Pracharath Party began to fragment as the incumbent political machine. In late 2022, Prayut Chan-o-cha announced his intention to join the United Thai Nation Party instead.

In the general election, the United Thai Nation Party won 11% of the vote.
