The Japan Innovation Party (2016) is a political party in Japan.
Platform
History
In 2015, Touru Hashimoto led a breakaway group from the Japan Innovation Party to found Initiatives from Osaka. After that original party was merged into the Democratic Party in 2016, this new group adopted that identity.
The party enjoys significant success in and around Osaka, but remains a minor party in national politics.
