A history of the '''presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina'''.

Under the terms of the [[WorldHistory/DaytonAgreement|Dayton Agreement]], Bosnia and Herzegovina is led by a three-member presidency. The three presidents are elected separately to represent Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks. Each presidency lasts 4 years; replacement of one or more presidents does not reset the term.

The presidency has a '''chair''' that rotates among the presidents automatically every 8 months.

Presidents cannot serve for more than two consecutive terms.
